Apoquel Chewable Tablets are used for the treatment of itching in dogs with allergic disease. They also help reduce the clinical signs of atopic dermatitis.

The active ingredients in Apoquel Chewable Tablets target the enzymes involved in allergic reactions, and within 4 hours of administration, they start to provide relief. Within 24 hours, itching is generally well-managed, helping your dog feel more comfortable.

Conventional itch treatments include steroid-based compounds, cyclosporine immunosuppressants, or antihistamines. Apoquel® is specifically designed to target the root cause of itching. The active ingredient, Oclacitinib, is established as safe for short-term use, working on cell proteins responsible for itching while having minimal impact on immune function. As with any medication, it should be given under the guidance of your vet.
