Metacam Solution for Injection is an anti-inflammatory and pain relief prescription treatment for cats ond dogs. Metacam relieves short-term (acute) pain after surgery or an injury and can be used as part of the treatment of arthritis.

Always read the label before use.

• Dosage:
• Dogs: 0.1 mg/kg once daily
• Cats: 0.05 mg/kg once daily.
• ✔️ Injectable usage only.
• ✔️ For animal treatment only. To be supplied only on veterinary prescription. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• ❌ Do not give more than every 24 hours (once a day).
• ❌ Do not give to animals that are dehydrated.
• ❌ Care with animals with kidney and liver problems.
• ❌ Care with animals with a history of stomach ulcers.
• ❌ Do not give to pregnant or lactating animals.
• ❌ Do not give to animals under 6 weeks old.
• ✔️ Speak to a vet if you notice side effects such as loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea, or lethargy during treatment.
• ✔️Use as directed by your veterinarian and consult the product packaging and data sheet for complete warnings and contraindications.

• Metacam® Solution for Injection is to be given subcutaneously and usually in a vet practice setting.
• Is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine or NSAIDs.
• Reduces pain and inflammation (swelling, redness and warmth).
